For the price paid, you can't really go wrong with this. It's easy to use and does what it says on the tin- it plays music. The quality of the earphones is fairly good cnsidering you don't pay any extra for them. Certainly a worthy spare set if you have some you are already comfortable with. It's the perfect Mp3 player if you don't want to be paying for frills. The only negative is the consumption of AAA batteries. The battery life is good, but unlike most new Mp3 players, it does not recharge its own battery by plugging into your PC. It's probably worth investing in some good rechargeables or buying lithium. Overall a good buy though.

Purchased this item as a Christmas present, I chose this particular item becuse I searched high and low for a MP3 player that took ordinary batteries. Nearly all others now come with a built in Lithium battery, and as the person who I gave this to works nights, that is no good if the lithium battery runs flat half way through the night.
I had reservations due to the low cost, but on reciept I found it was very sturdly made and the sound quality is excellent considering the stock headphones that came with it. It runs for approx 12 hours on an ordinary AAA battery and 10 hours on a re-chargeable AAA battery, this is far longer than some other MP3 players I have come across.
Overall I would say that this is an excellent choice for anyone who needs a simple to use very high standard MP3 player.
One other good thing about it, you just plug it into your computer, the computer recognises it as a removable hard drive and you simply drag and drop the music files you want onto it. ( Although I must admit, filling up an 8Gb Mp3 player took quite some time, which of course is obvious. It has loads of extras such as an equaliser, shuffle/ repeat/ skip etc, etc. and when you turn it of and then turn it back on it starts playing the tracks from where you turned it of, you can of course make it start from the very beginning if you wish. Another good point is there is no software that you have to install on your computer. I also found that IT DOES NOT switch itself of if you knock it, as I have read in other reviews
Anyone considering buying this item should go for it, you certainly won't be dissapointed. It is brilliant.

OK. It's not the best MP3 player around, but for the price you get everything you need.
My reasons for buying was because my Nokia mobile just became too heavy whilst jogging, it would jump up and down in my pocket. This was ideal as it was so light.
It also has a standard headphone socket, so I could continue using my sport headphones without buying an annoying adaptor.

This also came with a AAA battery already, for those that don't know this is one of those slimmer cylinder type ones. It lasted about 5 hours but wasn't the best of brands, i would expect a major brand one would give more hours.

I'm not expert on MP3's but compared to my phone this has nice features. It has a digital display which scrolls showing you the name of the songs, even when you switch off the player and switch it on again and press play it plays the same song you were playing before. It is handy for jogging as the scroll button is large enough meaning you don't even have to take it out your pocket to change to the next song. The same switch can be pushed vertically to adjust the volume. As this switch is on one side rather than in the near center you can always work out which way to push it without looking at it intensely. There is also a locking function and repeat song or all, bascially all basic functions including illuminated display.

The setup allows you to select several major languages, whilst on the screen displays which number of song you playing eg. 12/100 and the time passed of the song. It always indicates the battery level (which like most such battery indicators isn't perfect) and volume. There is also a mic input built in although i have not tested this but seems a pretty good idea for secretly recording someone.

I needed a small light mp3 player to listen to podcasts without having to pay for all the whistles and bells - the most important feature for me is that it resumes playing at the point I left off listening last. Haven't used the headphones included since I already had my own but do listen to it through my stereo and for spoken podcasts the sound is more than acceptable.

Arrived quickly as usual. Good sound quality - get some decent noise cancelling headphones and you're away. It does go through AAA batteries fairly quickly but I use rechargeable and have not had a problem. Plenty of capacity at 8GB and loading music is a doddle as it's a simple drag and drop operation. I will echo the comment of another reviewer as I have noticed that if you knock the unit while walking it can switch itself off - doesn't happen that often but it could be very annoying if you were in the gym or jogging. Overall though for the money you can't go far wrong.

Fantastic Value & Excellent Item, Really easy to work as it is not too small that you struggle to use the controls. It's a neat little MP Player a great purchase.
