A wonderful iPod speaker system, I have had mine for over a year now and I have been very happy with it. The main speakers can be rotated to provide the best sound coverage for your room. The bass is of a good quality as you would hope from a system at this price and the overall sound quality is of a high standard, much better than the Bose SoundDock. The on unit controls are fairly basic with the majority of the adjustments needing to be made via the remote control.
Perhaps my only issue is the system does not always respond quickly to the remote control, this can be annoying when pausing the track to answer a phone call. Otherwise the unit is one of the best purchases I have made.

These speakers are easy to set up and use. They have 3' high left and right aluminium column speakers attached to a black resin sub-woofer.The sound quality is great and can be adjusted by using the treble and bass buttons. The controls are fairly basic consisting of moving through tracks, volume and bass/treble adjustment. These are located on top of the sub-woofer and also on the supplied remote control. Unfortunately (hence the 4 stars) the remote control does not allow you to manipulate through the ipods menus so you have to get up and change albums manually. The speakers also charge up the ipod during use which is useful and the two column speakers can be rotated to direct the sound to your taste. Incidentally I found it easier to use with my 3G touch sensitive ipod then my 5G click-wheel video ipod (less pushing the ipod involved!). They also come with various adaptors for the different ipod sizes.

Ok, first impressions, I could not get the base and treble the way I wanted them at all, but after tinkering with the settings on the ipod itself, I hit the nail on the head! Now I have a quality piece of equipment that looks wonderful and sounds gorgeous, for an amazing price! I also own the little Intempo speakers and they have been brill also in the bedroom or kitchen, so I knew I could trust the brand. Being 100% honest, it is NOT as good as my beloved Pioneer Hi-Fi, but then it has nowhere near the power that my Pioneer does, and the whole reason I bought this was because I have just moved house and the living room has a very low ceiling which my Pioneer Speakers just did not suit. Just because it does not match the Pioneer's power is no reason to knock the stars down for this little beauty, it is more than adequate and with tinkering, the sound is just lovely and ample to fill the room and beyond! I honestly don't see how anyone could fail to be pleased with this, believe me, I am as fussy as they come, nothing but the best is good enough, even if it does cripple my credit card, so weighing up everything, it's got great sound, great looks, great price, and is a well made, sturdy piece of equipment that wil do your ipod justice! Go get it while you can!
