The Intempo IDS 04 iPod speakers are compact, lightweight and have a 2x3W RMS output.

These portable speakers feature a 3.5mm stereo line-in jack, including stereo cable for connecting to other audio devices.

This Intempo IDS iPod speaker also comes with a removable battery pack with a 15 hour playback on 6xAA batteries.
Will not charge iphone 3G/3GS, nano 4G/5G, Touch 2G/3G, but ALL other functions work fully

I got this as a secondary docking station to put in my kitchen and it's so much better than the one I got with my iPod that's in my bedroom! The sound quality is brilliant, it plays loudly without distorting and it charges my iPod as it plays which my other one doesn't do. It was over half the price cheaper too!
It would be slightly bulky to take on holiday for instance and a folding one would be the better option for that but in terms of listening to music at home then I see no need paying over the odds for a more expensive version when this does a great job.

Received by my 7 year old as a present from a friend who found it was incompatible with her new iPod. Perfect value for money when new, comes complete with mains and battery power sources, 3.5 mm stereo connection cable to link up Shuffle and docking cradle for iPod, iPod Mini and 1st & 2nd Gen Nanos. Takes 6 AA batteries and you get roughly 15 hours from one set. Great for outdoors or a child's bedroom. Would have 5 stars except no RC. Not the heaviest bass on the market buut that suits my taste.

I was impressed with the sound quality and the base out of this portable speaker system. This is not compatible with the new itouch.
