I love this radio! I have had it for nearly a year now. I love waking up to the radio and listening to the radio in bed and hate when the signal messes up (like buzzing when you move away from the radio!?) so I HAD to buy a digital radio. I chose this one mainly because of the price but I also liked the design.
Its very easy to set up, easy to use and a great sound. I love listening to radio staions that play current/urban music and blasting this radio is certainly a pleasure. (I only wish it could be a bit louder and a bit more bass)
The comments on here regarding the light being too bright are ridiculous!! There is a button at the back to switch the light off and on - duh!! This light is very useful as a nightlight esp as you can turn it OFF and ON by simply pressing a small button at the back. (I mean if you don't know how to do a simple thing like press a small button maybe you should stick with your wireless)
Anyway it's easy to switch the alarm off and on/change alarm time once you get the knack of it, change stations, station preset etc etc. It's fab! I want one for every room of the house.
Thanks for reading!

I have owned the PG-02 for a number of months now and I have to say I love it. I was toying with the idea of getting the PG-01 because of its wood finish but in the end I went for the Silver. I would imagine both are the same so its just the finish that differs. I am glad now I went for Silver.

I plugged the Pg in and straight away it tuned in. THE JOYS OF DAB!!! The quality in my opinion is excellent but in all honesty I have never had to deal with frequency/tuning issues.

I think the old school AM/FM radio is now a thing of the past.

Got mine yesterday - aerial fell off the back as soon as I took it out of the box. Digital radio worked fine, but buttons very clunky and fiddly and setting the alarm is a bit of a mammoth effort. Also the light can't be dimmed - it dims slightly on standby, but not much - so if you're using it as an alarm clock you need to hide the machine behind something at night as the light is too bright and lights up the whole room ( but this seems to be a common problem with digital radio alarms).
I'm returning mine to Amazon - disappointed with it.

Verified Purchase
I bought this radio because it looked good, had the features I was looking for, and was the right price. What a pity it didn't work! Impossible to tune into any stations, just a mess of background noise. It really doesn't seem too much to ask that a manufacturer should actually test its product before selling it. Had to return it - incidentally, couldn't fault Amazon's returns/refund service which was prompt and efficient.
