This is a book about Emotional Intelligence from a Jungian point of view, so as you would expect there is lots of stuff about getting in touch with the 'shadow side' of emotions. Full marks though for going beyond Mayer and Salovey / Goleman's five 'competencies' to include a sixth category, 'Transforming Emotions', which is about the 'life-changing transformation that understanding our emotions can give us'. This has informed and deepened my own Emotional Intelligence and NLP courses.
