I really liked this series as it has an unusual plot and some very realistic special effects.

Josh Holloway makes a charismatic lead in this Cyber-series as Gabriel, a man with an implanted computer chip giving him instant information. Marg Helgenburger is great as his no-nonsense boss, Lillian Strand; but for me the memorable character is John Billingsley as Doctor Cassidy, the lovable, sometimes bumbling genius but who also has a heart. P J Byrne plays his son, the younger Doctor Cassidy and together they make a great double act with some really funny scenes.

I would definitely recommend 'Intelligence' - it makes for good viewing.

I don't really watch that much TV but I have to say this series is amazingly good. I really enjoyed the different twist with the chip and the cast works really well together. One thing I really liked was the linking back to pervious episodes, Characters who come back in later in the series. Also loved the twist at the end and could not wait for season 2, but having read online that there will be no new season was gutting.

Very middle American in the way ABC stuff tends to be (and note how similar the head of the USCC's accent is to Hillary's in the intro). Propaganda for the spy agencies as one might expect, but well implemented, with decent acting, very nice special effects and a few product placements for Microsoft.

Amazing series. Josh Holloway is excellent as Gabriel, he has plenty of action scenes and emotional scenes. The camaraderie between the main characters is great and Josh Holloway and Meghan Ory as Gabriel and Riley make a great pair. There are some terrific guest actors such as Tomas Arana and Lance Reddick. The two part finale is exceptional with a splendid guest appearance by Debra Mooney.

I just Finished episode 13, and it is really sad to know that they did not continue to make the second season,…I love the mail character Josh Holloway with his rough yet charismatic character,..and the Doctor! and his funny son!(Nelson),….It was a unique series,…sort of science fiction drama,..but with wonderful special effects that make the story sound feasible,.. I was watching it happily , on prime and I even checked to buy it online,..but then I noticed they did not even make the second season,…..:(

Still enjoying this at the moment, brilliant storyline is great with sufficient action to keep things interesting, characters are strong and possess good tech skills. I like the idea of having a chip implanted in the human brain no matter how far-fetched.
I would like to see further seasons please.

As the world moves away from traditional ways of watching television towards internet based services like Amazon Instant Video, television makers aren't coping as well a they should and as a result are cancelling shows far too early. I think that Intelligence is such a casualty.

Intelligence is a show that celebrates the concept of futuristic technology, deals with a lot of modern sciences and concepts and basically will appeal to the younger generation... the kind of people who now use streaming services rather than watching broadcast TV. I think that because of this the ratings for this show were never what the networks hoped and therefore this show that has a lot more promise than some of the more traditional ones that get given a second series, got cancelled far too early.

Intelligence had only 13 episodes to explore the concept of what would happen if you managed to put a computer chip in a man's head and connect him up to the worlds computer networks. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't perfect right out of the box and there was certainly a lot to take with a pinch of salt. However, it was fun, action packed and it was intriguing enough to keep me wanting to watch the next episode in the series. More than this, the creators were clearly getting into the right frame of mind as each episode was a little better than the one before as they thought up new scenarios and ideas around the core concept.

Basically what I am saying is that this was an easy watching show with a lot of promise. It was never going to be ground breaking but it was fun, had great special effects and was certainly an interesting way to pass 40-45 minutes.

On the plus side, the series did seem quite self contained.

Not bad at all for a 'spy' series, and for sure, thanks to Josh for spicing-up the main character, as always, after Lost.
