I done some research for this cpu on youtube, and found out that has the capabilities to be overclocked to 4.0GHz, which i thought is perfect. It has 4 cores which is what i want, similar to the intel core i7 family, but with only 4 threads. I built my computer, with an Asus P7P55D-E motherboard, 4gb ddr3 ram, a 650watt power supply, and an aftermarket CPU cooler, i was able to get it up to 3.9ghz, baring in mind my cpu cooler was not a water cooled one. Overall i think this cpu is fantastic.

Works great if you have SSD hard drive which is superb together with this processor. Turbo boost is optional, normally you can boost this to 3.37Ghz however goes to 3.9 which is not needed for normal users.
I bought this and an asus motherboard with overclocking tool, and had it stable at 3.9ghz and it was happy enough... so pound for pound you could do alot worse , its a good mid to high chip , its a good all rounder if you are a total gamer you might fancy a bigger one but ive played mw3 on it and it cruzed it with flyin colours with a 1 gb gpu card .
