Bought this recently with the help of a gift voucher after Christmas. The postage wasn't the fastest I've ever had but the "longest cold snap in 30 years" probably didn't help that. Once it had arrived however I took no time delaying to install it into my Samsung NC10 which is running Ubuntu 9.10. I was able to find a guide on how to get the back of the casing off. Simply take all the screws out and slide a wedge down the gap to release all the clips and then let it slide of past the jack socket which don't budge. This is what got me stuck but once that was realised it was easy. Once the back is off simply take the once screw out of the old network card once the two aerials have been removed. Then replace it with this network card. Screw it down and then attach the two aerials present to the sockets labeled 2 and 3. I belive 1 is for if you put a third aerial in which is easily possible. Then replace the backing. Once all this was done I put the battery back in and started it. It picked it up with no problem at all. Simply connecting me to my wireless. And where I used to get 5% in my room I now got 30%. In all happy with the product but postage was a bit slow.
Just a word of warning for anyone looking for this PCIe Mini card as an addition to a PC without wireless. It does not come with any screws so on receiving this card we've had to work out what screws it comes with and try and order these seperately.
I'm not sure yet on the quality of the card but I think it would be helpful if the product description was clearer on how it needs to be fitted with screws.
