Product Description

Review

This book is inspiring, enjoyable and thought-provoking. It is a must for anyone in dental practice, whether student, new graduate or established practitioner. Reading this book inspires reflection on one's own experiences of the management of patients' unique dental needs; if the result is improved patient experiences, then the book has served its purpose. (Shivani Thavapalasundaram, Dental Update, July/August 2006 )

This remarkable book ... is not about dentistry but people. [It] takes you beyond the normal limits of traditional dental textbooks. The book is suited to final year dental students and practitioners alike and is to be strongly recommended. (P. Brunton in British Dental Journal, Vol.199, No.2, July 2005 )

Fantastic! 21 Aug 2006
I buy textbooks - then they lie on the shelf. Not this book! I actually read it in bed, took me 3 nights, it was more like reading 6 biographies, than a typical textbook. It certainly made me think, and raised ethical/treatment issues we all face regularly in practice. I can say I definitely learned from it, and would highly recommend it to all practitioners.
