Integral LED Mini Globe Bulbs
Integral LED retrofit Mini Globe bulbs produce the same amount of light as equivalent filament and halogen bulbs while using only 15% of the energy. Therefore, instead of using 25-40W of power, a Mini Globe LED bulb will only use only 4-7W. LED bulbs last more than 12 times longer too, so you save even more. The savings start as soon as you install them.
Base Types and Finish
Just like filament and halogen Mini Globe bulbs, there are a few important decisions to make to ensure you purchase the right bulb. LED Mini Globes are available in three base types; bayonet (B22), large Edison screw (E27) and small Edison screw (SES / E14). Please check your light fitting.
The next step is to choose between a frosted/opal or clear finish for your Mini Globe bulb. Ask yourself: will my lamp be exposed or hidden (inside a lampshade)? What would look best in my light fitting? The choice is yours.
Less Watts, Same Light Output
LED bulbs use far less energy (Watts) than a halogen or filament bulb, so using wattage to gauge light output no longer applies. Lumens are now used instead. The higher the lumen rating, the brighter the bulb. Until measurement by Lumens becomes mainstream, LED bulbs can be compared to halogen and filament bulbs using equivalent wattages e.g. 6.7W (LED) = 40W.
LED bulbs are available in dimmable (with compatible dimmers) and non-dimmable versions. For best performance, use with a compatible LED-ready dimmer switch.
Instant On and Mercury Free
LED bulbs are instant on; there is no warm-up time like with many compact florescent bulbs (CFL). CFLs contain a small amount of mercury, whereas LED bulbs are mercury-free, so are safer and better for the environment.
Why Integral LED?
Integral is a European technology company established in 1989. Integral has become known for delivering high-quality products to the market that offer great value. The LED range has been carefully developed and rigorously benchmarked at Integral's in-house light laboratory. Technical support is also provided.
Integral LED lamps have been awarded several prestigious accolades including Which? Best Buy (Spotlights) and "Recommended" by Lux magazine.
Integral LED -- Designed to Be Better
Not all LED bulbs are the same. Integral LED products are designed to perform. Integral only uses high-quality components from industry-leading suppliers. LEDs last longer when they operate at cooler temperatures, so Integral LED bulbs feature advanced thermal management to keep them cool. For a professional, even light distribution, Integral products have anti-glare refractors or Fresnel optics. The packaging clearly states all the relevant technical details and Integral LED products meet all applicable European electrical and safety regulations.
Great for the Environment
With LED lighting not only are you using less electricity, which means less resources are used in energy generation, you will also use fewer bulbs which saves on manufacturing, transport and disposal. All this adds up to less waste and a lower carbon footprint, which is great news for the environment.
Recycle Your Old Bulbs
Integral LED is a member of Recolight which means customers have access to free recycling via nationwide collection points.
