This is an American book and a very succinct introduction to the terminology used in the insurance market in the US. Nothing that you wouldn't be able to find with more depth, detail and relevant geographic information over the web.

I'm just learning the basics of the insurance game and this is a very informational book that really covers the broad basics. It has helped me to understand the big picture.
A review of insurance types for practitioners 16 July 2014
By Neurasthenic - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This is a thin book that explains different kinds of insurance coverage and defines key terms and limitations. It's going to be of greatest use for somebody working in insurance sales, perhaps providing background about Life & Health coverage to somebody who specializes in Property 7 Casualty, or vice versa. There's nothing complex here, but it's competently prepared and neatly presented.

Very good review of all types of insurances. Answered my questions. I've worked in corporate insurance for four years and will keep this as a resource.

Being a person from IT insurance is a maze to me. Just wanted to have some basic concepts, and I am happy with it. wish there were some mathematical modeling though
