Very good option for replacing rubber on frayed wires, or insulating electrical devices you may have just soldered. It is nicely flexible, dries in 10 - 15 minutes, and can be placed on in multiple layers to achieve the thickness desired.

We had an old car in for conversion. The wiring loom had perished with heat over the years so any movement resulted in the insulation falling off with reisk of serious short circuits etc. We carefully painted this on to the loom and left it to dry.

The car is still being used over 12 months after treatment. Without it, the car would have been scrapped as new wiring is no longer available.

I bought this to repair a damaged aerial cable - the outer insulation had been damaged. One of the DIY forums recommended this as a fix, so I tried it.

Since then, I've also used it to repair some low-voltage garden lights (re-solder cut wires, coat joint with liquid tape) and the power supply for my computer speakers (saw open sealed unit, solder new wires, liquid tape over joints and glue together power supply case).

Really easy to use (remember to use at least two coats). It's paid for itself with a couple of very simple repairs, so if you like to tinker and repair things, then this is the stuff to get.

I've used this for a number of jobs so far, only one of them electrical insulation... It's a great way of insulating the living daylights out of a cable splice - so long as you can get access, and can support the cable to allow it to cure. Very messy if you get careless, but a great addition to the DIY arsenal.

Very handy for ensuring a watertight joint. Easy to apply with the can brush, Best with several coats allowing a 15 mins drying time between coats. I have even used a combination of insulating tape & liquid tape to make a robust joint.

I found that the product does what it says, however over time the brush become difficult to use due to it being covered in the stuff (i.e. hard to apply without it dripping). Once on though, very practical and good.
