I wanted this book for ages, but it spends a lot of time on learning theory and almost nothing on actual ID. For example, the first half of the book is on learning theories, and there is 1 page on performing a needs analysis. Really disappointed and certainly not what I was hoping for

This appears to be a self-published book in need of a good editor. I bought it due to the very positive reviews on Amazon.com, but feel cheated. The book gives neither any depth of treatment regarding psychological perspectives on learning nor any insight/how-to advice re e-learning. It reads like a student project that has been hastily thrown together.

Great ideas for the design of high level e-learning.
