Book Description
Instinct and Inspiration is a collection of poems based on nature, spirituality and personal experience. It is the search for the divine in nature, and the nature of the divine. Written over several years, this book will take you on a journey through the wilderness of the soul.
From the Inside Flap
Instinct and Inspiration is a magical blend of nature and mythology combined with contemporary verse that gives an insight into the poetic soul through relationships and experience. This book will take you on a journey through the heart of the wildwood to meet with gods and goddesses, embrace the elements, suffer heartbreak and lead onto a journey to define the self through prosaic expression.

New Deity
Crystalline shapes surround and control
A landscape of softened edges and bared souls
The cold within me freezes a dream
To be melted again and running clean
Branches reaching into a sky of perfect nimbus grey
Disappearing into a haze like a mountaintop
Climbing higher I see what the world used to be
As I jump off with the evening breeze
This is a new deity
This is what I used to be
Snowflakes surround the whispering forest of secrecy
Swirling through the roots of entwined trees
Falling lightly on top of little seeds
Hidden amongst the stars of eternity
This is a new deity
This is what I used to be
