Product Description

“Instigations,” is the sequel to Kiki Archer’s best-selling lesbian fiction novel, “But She Is My Student.”

Illicit affairs with happy endings. Do they really exist?

Miss Katherine Spicer, a well respected history teacher from Coldfield Comprehensive thinks so. Now in a committed relationship with her ex-student Freya, she feels she has it all: A thriving career, a wonderful girlfriend, and a fun-filled apartment shared with her very best friends. Previous insecurities are gently fading away and for the first time ever, she feels truly loved.

But will a chain of events, triggered by the deliberate and intentional actions of Freya’s new university acquaintance, see the downfall of their relationship? Has Kat got the strength to believe when Freya’s desire to stay strong is questioned?

“Instigations,” follows the ups and downs of all fast moving lesbian love affairs. From moving in, to moving on. A rollercoaster ride, full of emotion. Laugh out loud with the highs and cry in sorrow with the lows.

Lesbian chick lit at its best.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb and Very Well Written 28 Dec 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
InstigationsI bought this book as soon as I had finished "But She is my Student". Very well written and also brings out a lot of points. Class attitudes and also we find out about the insecurities of both parties in their relationship. The first book brought out the possible problems of havinga teacher pupil relationship. This book brings out the problem of having a relationship and working in the same classroom. If there is another sequel I very much look forward to it. She is certainly on my reading list for the future.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant 13 Dec 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I loved "But she is my student", it is definitely now in my top lesbian reads, however I never knew there was a sequel and discovered "Instigations" purely by chance. I am really glad I did! It a brilliant follow up. I am not usually a fan of sequels as they are normally a let down however this is superbly done and is just as well written, funny and captivating as its prequel. I am now a follower of Kiki Archer and am looking forward to her sequel to this which is out sometime next year!

I also love that its set in England! Nice and refreshing after reading so many American novels.

Definitely recommend both "But she is my student" and "Instigations".

5.0 out of 5 stars Back in school together 27 July 2014
By Hesch
Format:Kindle Edition
The sequel to "But She Is My Student" is a book about love and lust, but also about trust, insecurities and possible temptations. While Kat is still teaching at Freyas old school, Freya has moved on to university. Things become a little awkward for the two lovers, when Kat is asked to mentor her trainee-teacher girlfriend for a whole month. But their relationship is only put to the test when Freya makes friends with flirty Renee, a fellow student at uni. And while Kat has to face her fears, their mutual friends Lucy and Ben are confronted with Ben's past and have to make a decision which also affects the future of Kat and Freya.

Like all the other Archer-books, this one also will have you giggling, sighing and smiling. You'll meet characters from the predecessor and you'll witness various comical scenes. And of course you shall get what you asked for: a lot of romance and sexy encounters.

I bought this as soon as i finished "But she is my student". Quite often sequels can be a disappoinment, but this finished the story off really well. I read this in one sitting, the characters are likeable, the story flows nicely. I highly recommend it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad. 18 May 2014
By Claire
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
It's nice to read something set in England, and it's well written but as with the first book some of the side issues are unbelieveable, like a brand new teacher being amazing at her job, so much so that she lifts a who school out of the gutter? Little bit ridiculous, which is a shame because most of the characters and story is actually very good.

I really enjoyed it. Feel good :) I think I enjoyed it more than the first because they were just relaxed with each other, without the whole student teacher drama...
