This show is very little known over here which I think is a travesty !!

It is about a charming punk underdog called Jude Harrison, who's life changes dramatically when she wins what she calls a 'cheesy tv talent search' called Instant Star

If it isn't problems with her new ultra sexy ex-boybander producer Tommy Quincy it's bleached blonde rejects trying to squeeze her out of the spotlight.

This fantastic first season of Instant Star follows Jude's turbulent first year as a famous musician.

If it isn't problems with her new ultra sexy ex-boybander producer Tommy Quincy it's bleached blonde rejects trying to squeeze her out of the spotlight.

But Jude fights against the odds and gets through every twist and turn thrown her way and she does what she wants to do most, she sings her songs.

Unlike most tv shows about teenage superstars Alexz Johnson who plays Jude sings every great song in every episode. Alexz is a rising star with an incomparable voice who makes this show what it is with her fantastic music and her brilliant acting.

This show was never very well publicised over here but it still remains one of my favourites to this day. I found the plot fresh and amusing with fantastic incidental music to boot!!! Definitely always worth a watch.
