great for beginners! 23 Jan 2002
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
I found this text excellent, much more accessible than the bigger ecology books, - it's very well structured and easy to find the information and definitions you want. Ive bought begon too but to be honest it just sits on the shelf.

I teach environmental science, so we spend considerable time on ecology. This text has proven to be an excellent source of extra information for me and my more advanced students.
