It does what it says and is true to its word, I have used it many times this year with no complaints. I would recommend this for those who normally have to scrape the ice from their car windows.

After about 30-40 minutes use the cigarette lighter socket started overheating so I wired the unit to a spare fuse and all seemed to be OK. After 3 hours continuous use the heater stopped working but the fan was still running. I took it apart and found that the switch contact that supplied the heater had burned out as it was too small to take the current the heater used. The switch was replaced by a heavier duty one and it now seems OK.

Very disappointed with this item. This is no way helped to warm or defrost the inside of my car, waste of money.

Don't bother
I tried this on the windscreen when there was quite a heavy frost one morning. I let it run for fifteen minutes and all that happened is that my car battery got a little flatter. Read more
