very useful.my 17 month old son was forever playing with the switches.Since it has been covered he has not gone near it.have used this in the living room.only down side is that it will not cover the large plugs that you get on phones and some chargers but for standard size plugs it is fine.would only use this for covering sockets that you dont need to keep getting access to as opening the box can be a bit of pain as the whole thing can unclip from the wall. Overall recommended this for anyone one with active babies/toddlers.

Does the job, although you will have to take the face plate off the socket to install it, so make sure you're happy around exposed electrical wiring. If in doubt, just trip out every circuit in the house.

Does exactly what it is supposed to, keeps little fingers away from sockets and the switches! It is a bit of a pain to open, but that's what helps keep the little fingers out! And it is only suitable for a standard plug size, not for chargers etc but apart from that it works very well. The only downside is like others, mine didn't come with the fitting instructions, but basically you need to unscrew the socket from the wall, clip the cover over the front of the loose socket face and then screw it back onto the wall, will take less than 5 minutes to fit.

OK, if a little flimsy
This socket cover fits OK over the double socket. It was easy to fit. It is a bit flimsy though; I don't think it will stand up to knocks very well. Read more
