Good starting point for self supported bike ride

The map was a great starting point for our self supported bike ride, but it was too big and heavy to carry on our bikes. We used it to map our tour and then had to purchase a more detailed road map when we got to St. Jean de Luz because we were going on less traveled roads. For those who need a more detailed map for bike rides, try the Reise Know How Pyranees map. It was expensive ( 12 Euros) but in combination with the Insight map, we biked sucessfully with full paniers from Biarritz through the Pyranees back to Barcelona.
