This handy pocket guide to Penang and Langkawi is up to Insight guides normal high standard. Places to visit are accurate, transport, weather and accommodation are sufficient without internet access, though this is useful for viewing hotels. Well done.Insight!

Found this booklet very useful & small enough to carry with me at all times. Just got back from a month in Penang. Local information concise and well described regarding transport, food and places to visit, tho' the area is not as beautiful as I expected as the highrise buildings dwarf all the beautful old ex-colonial areas. Great weather but unable to swim in the sea due to jellyfish. Wish the photos were a little more up to date.
