I ordered several books that I thought would help me decide about taking a nile cruise, this was one of them. It's ok, (too much about Cairo, religion and not enough practical advise) but not specialised enough to answer the questions I had about cruising the nile. These questions were answered perfectly by the Janet Wood book Travel Egypt; Nile Cruise which I found to be invaluable

Ok, but too much information on parts of the nile we would never see. ie Cairo and lower egypt - as we were only going between Luxor and Aswan. A little over priced. More practical information required.
