Bought this before departure - but there is a bigger scale, better map available for 3.99 in the cafeteria at the ferry port in Poole (don't know about Weymouth) which is not laminated but which shows much more information.

We were unimpressed with this map; if you're looking for something akin to Ordnance Survey quality then forget it!
The map is bright and laminated but severely lacks the details that one needs to navigate their way around the island.
Point 1: except in St Helier, hardly any of the roads names are labelled.
Point 2: the 1:35,000 scale is not good enough (OS Explorer are 1:25,000)
After our first day on the island, we didn't use it at all, preferring instead to use a free map we were given by the hotel (available in numerous other places, inc. Tourist Information). This had far more detail on it, including all the road names.
