Great Guide To Seattle And Its Environs 4 Nov 2010
By The Footpath Cowboy - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
THE INSIDERS' GUIDE TO SEATTLE is a great guide to the city of Seattle and the surrounding area, including such neighborhoods as Central District, Alki/West Seattle, Queen Anne, Magnolia, Phinney Ridge, Capitol Hill, Ballard, and Madison Park/Washington Park/Madrona/Denny Blaine, as well as such suburbs as Kirkland, Bainbridge Island, Bellevue, Vashon Island, and Mercer Island, but for some reason ignores the northern suburbs entirely. The book includes complete guides to recreation, dining, nightlife, shopping, outdoor activities, sightseeing, and cultural attractions, as well as a fairly complete list of radio and television stations and newspapers in the area, but makes absolutely no mention of any shopping malls. Whether you're planning to move to the Seattle area, vacation there, or are just interested in different areas of the country, you'll want this book in conjunction with THE NEWCOMER'S HANDBOOK FOR MOVING TO AND LIVING IN SEATTLE.
