I recommend this book to any United fan. John Doherty is chairman of the 'ex Man United players association', so he is a good choice to air his views on all of United's players since 1945. He tells some great stories about his colleagues and shows good a good analysis of players of more recent times.
You may not agree with all of John's views here (I didn't rate Jimmy Nicholl as much as he did), but it would be a dull world if we all agreed.

This book is a fantastic read. Many of my friends quote from the book on a weekly basis. John Doherty died in November 2007 and is missed by everyone who knew him.It will be his birthday tomorrow so Happy Birthday JD x

I think this is a great book for any Manchester United fan and any football fan!!
