5.0 out of 5 stars Story keeps children gripped!! 10 Jun 2012
By Dilly
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I am currently reading this to my class of Year 4 / 5 children. We have read Room 13 and they absolutely loved it. Saw this and thought they would also like it. The language is very descriptive and at the beginning of each chapter is a picture which keeps the children and myself captivated (similar to Room 13) and wanting to know what happens next. Enjoy!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Inside the worm 3 Jan 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book is a sequel to room 13, and I think it was amazing, it is a must read because the author creates age a simple but creepy story. I think this book is 8+ (7+ if you want, I think 8+) because some of the scenes and the idea of the story where the children hypnotized by the worm costume 's quite spooky and I don't think I would let a child under 8 read this book, personally.
I totally enjoyed this book because every page you had a question in your mind and you felt you had to turn the page to discover another weird happening. Personally, I preferred room 13 but I still think that inside the worm was equally as good, I just preferred the storyline off room 13 but I still loved the story of this, I just preferred the story line to room 13. This is definitely a must read on a kindle because it is just so gripping

5.0 out of 5 stars The worm is not what it seems! 4 April 2001

I think this book is one of the best I have ever read. I like the way the worm attacks after it has been dead for 1000 years. It hypnotizes everyone who gets inside the costume and makes them do evil things like burn chickens!

Inside The Worm was very well written and the way Robert Swindell wrote the story helped you to imagine the Worm.....
Fliss and her friends were(Lisa, Gary etc.) were very real aswell....
i liked the ending alot although Robert didnt give an explanation to why the Worm dissappeared..
i would recommend this book to children ages 10-13
