Product Description

Product Description

Even though the Royal Black Institution is familiar to most people in Ireland, the UK and in other Commonwealth countries as a parading organisation, its origins, internal workings and teachings are shrouded in great obscurity. Few, if any, outsiders know what actually goes on behind their locked doors. In-depth research into this mystical Order has proven futile in the past in that a notoriously thick wall of secrecy is encountered. Members are forbidden to reveal any detail of the superstitious rites of the Institution with non-members.

This book for the first time in history goes behind the Black closed doors and exposes its ancient secrets.

Amazingly the Institution has succeeded in concealing its internal secrets and mysteries from the outside world up until this research (for over 212 years). This has been achieved by way of binding oaths and serious threats to the well-being of the members, should they divulge anything they have experienced in their initiations. The Blackman is threatened with the fate that befell Judas Iscariot should he ever betray the secrets of the Black Institution. Such severe warnings have ensured the secrets of the Black have remained hidden for over two centuries.

This comprehensive work on the Royal Black has taken the author 17 years to complete and has involved much research and many contacts. The book includes alarming detail about the shady and degrading degrees performed behind closed doors. The macabre usage of human skulls in their rituals to impress their teaching and enforce their death-threats adds a sinister twist to the internal procedures of this covert religious Order. The various secret rituals performed within the Order are examined in the light of Scripture - as the Royal Black Institution is exclusively religious organization, claiming to be solidly Christian, Protestant and biblical.

From the Publisher

The Royal Black Institution has always been viewed as the respectable face of Orangeism. This book was launched on Wed 16th Sept (the 212th anniversary of the formation of this Order). Amazingly it is the first time in history its thick walls have been penetrated. That is 2 centuries of successful secrecy.

This book will reveal in great detail the various bizarre rituals and sinister oaths employed within the Order. The 11 degrees will be scripturally examined as the Royal Black Institution claims to be a religious organisation that is solidly Christian, Protestant and biblical.

This explosive book is a must for anyone interested in Irish history, the Loyal Orders or secret societies. There is much never-before-revealed details in this shocking book.

Rubbish 25 July 2010
Format:Paperback
I have never come across such a lot of utter nonsense. The entire book appears to be based on thin air, anybody that claims to be able to reveal the "secrets" of one of the most secretive institutions in existance is quite frankly ridiculous.

Maybe a job working for the Daily Mail would be better suited, I understand that they quite enjoy tall tales too.

Well researched book 19 Jan 2010
By R. Wild
Format:Paperback
This is an insight into an institution that few people outside of Northern Ireland will have heard of. The links with free masonry are obvious through the outward signs but that it is closely akin to both the Jesuits and Mormons in its rites is somewhat astonishing and seems to be totally alien to the image The Blacks like to project. This book is a "must read" for anyone with even a basic interest in secret societies. The author bases his arguments on a fundamentalist [black and white] biblical interpretation which may not however be totally accepted by those with a broader outlook.
