Engineer, Manager and Author of INSIDE PARTICLES.

An Electrical Engineer in Coal; an Operations Manager in the Power Industry;
with extensive experience of electrical networks and Fluidised Bed Boilers.

As a young engineering trainee in the National Coal Board I assisted with the electrification of Colliery Winders, main ventilation fans and main compressors. [1,000 to 2,500 Horse Power].
During 10 years at Grimethorpe Pressurised Bed Combustion Project, I was Engineer under the Contract for the then, UKs largest [10MW] high speed motor [5100rpm].
7 years at Slough Estates Power Station as shift manager added greatly to my Fluidised Bed Boiler experiences.

From Jan 2000 I worked as Digital-Video Trainer & Contractor; providing Free support at I also added digital video skills into the UK National Curriculum, and wrote books on web design, video for beginners and Digital Video for Teachers.
