About the Author
Andra Serlin Abramson has written dozens of childrens book including six books in the Up Close Series for Sterling. Jason Brougham has been an Exhibit Preparator at the American Museum of Natural History since 1998. He is an anatomical sculptor and illustrator who specialises in maniraptoran dinosaurs and the evolutionary history of birds. His work has appeared in Natural History and Discover magazines, the New York Times. Carl Mehling has been at the American Museum of Natural History for twenty years and is currently collections manager for the worlds largest collection of dinosaur fossils.

Dinosaurs in color

"Inside Dinosaurs" is as informative as a textbook but far more enjoyable and easier to read because of its short topical paragraphs and colorful pictures. Considering that the subject has been extinct for a very long time, there is an incredible amount of stunning visual aids that are not just bones. Illustrations, photographs and diagrams show the dinosaurs as they were in full form and context. This makes the book comprehensible and fun to read or look through quickly. There are also several foldout pages that make the "Inside" series a little more interactive then a traditional book.
"Inside Dinosaurs" is great for anyone looking to learn more about dinosaurs, at any age.
