As a continuation of Stephen Knight's work in The Brotherhood, which was much more aggressive and hard hitting than this book, this book does alright as a follow up.
The author is unbiased and is clear from his writings that he went through a great deal of research and filtering to finally complete this book. The book discusses instances where due to the relationship that the brotherhood creates between its members it has caused unethical if not immoral acts to be comfortably committed unpunished where they should not have even been tolerated. The author makes it very clear that he is not attacking masons as individuals and not all masons at that, he is simply stating that due to the bonds created by the brotherhood, some masons have taken advantage of the brotherhood to further their own means commit self-serving acts.
An interesting, unbiased, but slightly long read.
