Bekki's return to the music scene after an absence of many years leaves one breathless. This album is a personal cry of passion, sorrow and reconciliation - echoes of the personal feelings Bekki experienced to make this music shine through, giving this collection of instrumental and symphonic songs an edge of authenticity that will have you searching your own soul. Believe me, this is no hyperbole.
However, I would disagree with the Amazon reviewer above - the tracks are more like a melodic soundtrack, with a definitive orchestral structure, than a repetitive Tangerine Dream or Jarre piece.
2006 promises more from Bekki, first with an album of pieces for film and show, and then the long-awaited "Edge of Human" with the classic "Amberdawn" that you may have heard on various compilation albums, coming in the autumn.
