I ordered this paper as it was much cheaper than the photo card paper in WH Smith (more expensive for just 10 sheets). Although it's described as 'heavyweight' that's not fully true as 270gsm paper seems much more substantial than a 60gsm difference would suggest - these do stand when folded but tend to curl in a concave fashion after a while. I used this paper for my own designed Christmas cards for close family, most of which will be distributed by hand which, as it turned out, was fortunate as those I posted apparently arrived bent. I also took one to work in my rucksack and, despite lying next to the flat surface of my laptop lid, the corner bent as I slid it out.

The print quality is not bad though I had some Ilford matte photo cards left over from last year and the same design printed on those had greater contrast and definiton.

In summary, this is an economical buy. If posting the cards, I would recommend placing a piece of cardboard in the envelope as anything heavier landing on top of them in a postbox will result in bending or folding. The print quality is also good enough for non-critical results.

Enjoying clear print results on this fantastic material. All the fun's in the production - who's happy spending their money in the shops on standard fair when you can print your own? I have a special card-folding technique using a blunt metal object to assist. Card wonderfully sturdy when put on a desk.

Arrived next day. Could be slightly thicker. May opt for heavier grade in the future.

Just what we needed for printing our own cards. Instantly dry, good gloss and heavy enough paper to stand on it's own.

Rubbish. The card looks like it has been cut using toe nail clippers. The score is not in the middle of the card so when you fold it in half the edges do not line up. Read more
