Ordered this item for an Epson DX8450 as per the item description. Unfortunately the ink tank colours are in the wrong sequence, should be Left to Right Blue Red Yellow Black, but it's Blue Yellow Red Black. The pictures in the instructions show the correct order. It was obvious from the box that this kit had been returned at least once before. As the ink tanks are made as an assembly you can't just change them around.

In theory CISS seems to be a brilliant idea. Takes only about 5 minutes to fit. On thing that did concern me was the pipework coming out of the printer was compressed by shutting down the lid.
My Epson printer had no micro-switch in the lid, not sure if it had whether you could get the lid to shut sufficient enough without squashing the pipework.
Printing was very sporadic, one minute perfect print then one of the colours would be missing. I spent a week and a considerable amount of time bleeding the system of air, adjusting the height of the external unit, re-running pipework, nozzle checks, numerous head cleans but I could never achieve consistent results.

I eventually gave up and consigned the CISS to the bin and reverted back to the TO711 cartridges. The only good thing that came out of this purchase was that I now have 320ml of ink that I can use in re-filling cartridges.
I do not recommend this system, theory is sound but in practice it`s a nightmare.

Spent a lot of time putting new inks in, Instructions not very clear for my printer, The ink cartridge block was in the wrong order for my printer EPSON SX200. HAD TO UNCLIP THE CIRCUIT BOARD AND REARANGE THE CARTRIDGES SO the colours were in the right order WHICH WAS BLUE MEGENTA YELLOW BLACK not BLUE YELLOW MEGENTA BLACK went on the Internet found a video that was very helpful. Installed inks looked good but sounded like a cement mixer, first print out came out like double vision, had to re route pipes couldn't do it with bracket's supplied so made my own, used double sided tape and some thin plastic, all working ok now.
