About the Author

Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1963, Quentin Tarantino was an ex-video store clerk whose debut feature Reservoir Dogs (1991) became a huge cult hit. Two earlier scripts - True Romance and Natural Born Killers - were then filmed, while his own Pulp Fiction (1994) won the Palme d'Or at Cannes and an Oscar for Best Screenplay. Subsequently he has contributed to Four Rooms (1995) and From Dusk Till Dawn (1996), and made Jackie Brown (1998), Kill Bill (2003), and Death Proof (2008). --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

Having already seen this movie (and being an aspiring writer myself) I decided to pick this book up on a whim, and have absolutely no regrets. The whole book is jam packed with razor sharp dialogue, great action, and delicious writing. If you are a fan of Tarantino's movies, or if you are a fan of screenwriting in general, buy this book. Even if you aren't, buy it, read it, and love it. It might well just be Tarantino's masterpiece.

(They ghoulishly giggle)

A great read. Parts do differ from the film. But both can be appreciated as one entity or two great ones. Strongly recommend the read

Exciting and exhausting to read, very very good. Wonderful to see the master's work and read the story unfolding on the pages
