Product Description

Lateral thinking experts, Sloan and MacHale, have created the biggest selection of thought-provoking puzzles under the sun - also some of the most difficult. These are no exception: each challenging mental teaser presents a mini-scenario with a secret twist thats truly tough to figure out. The only way to find the answers is to get rid of any preconceptions, use your wildest imagination and think way outside the box. Solving has never been such infuriating fun!

really bad joke 4 Mar 2010
By M. Gunalan - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
The book might be aptly named as 'Infuriating really bad jokes'. There are a few good puzzles here & there but most of it is pulled out of christmas crackers. I bought this book to give a good workout to the mind during hour long commute to work everyday but it turned out that counting lamp posts was a better workout.

Rehash of older books 17 Dec 2009
By Barbara Podber - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Unfortunately, this is a rehash of two lateral thinking books that the authors published over ten years ago,and there is no way to know this from the webpage. While many of the puzzles are wonderful, it is dishonest to do this without warning the reader. If I were browsing the book in a store, I would realize this, but buying on line is not quite the same. I think it behooves Amazon to be a little more upfront with books like this.

Fun, Interesting Collection of Puzzles! 8 April 2010
By Grace Su - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I've always been a fan of this author's lateral thinking puzzles and this is another really interesting and fun collection. The puzzles work as a great game if one person knows the answer and others ask questions. We had a good time with this latest book. Would definitely recommend it as a gift or for a fun evening in with friends.
