I was looking for a sub £100 computer desk for my spare room and decided to give this one a try.
My only complaint would be that the instructions are pretty poor, especially the diagrams which give very little detail. The fixing of the drawer runners is not shown in detail, resulting in trial and error being used to decide which runner goes on the drawer, which on the unit, and which way round they go. The instructions also tell you to use the wrong screws to afix the draw runners to the unit, but common sense makes this mistake obvious and easily avoided.
This slight criticism aside, the desk went together without any real problems and I was pleasantly surprised at how solid the finished article was. The wood finish is quite attractive, and all the drawers lined up first time and ran smoothly. The design would benefit from deeper drawers, especially the bottom drawer which could then be used for filing, but overall I am very happy with it.
