I don't want to give the plot away, I'll just say that this takes the word "epic" to new dimensions. It's also wonderfully intelligent as Jim Starlin always portrays Thanos as morally ambigous, a "grey" area (usually heroes and baddies are black and white in superhero comics).
The slightest criticism is that the story peaks about two thirds of the way through and the last section is a slight anticlimax. Apart from that, this is perfection in a comic book.
