Any attempt at an explanation of Devin Townsend's work by a mere mortal such as my self would be insulting to the great omniscient gods of metal.

First spin I wasn't too impressed, but by the end of the second spin, I'd fallen in love.
Some bits do sound tired -- as to be expected since they were the bits Dev didn't want to include in the original tracklist -- but even ten years on I find myself shoving Infinity into the player. The only shame is that Dev didn't get to finish the production as he wanted it, so what you're getting is about 75% of what Dev originally had in mind. That said, it's still flippin' exceptional.

One of my Favorites

This is definitely one of my Favorite early Devin Townsend Albums - Well written and very awesome album from top to bottom - i love the "wall of sound" the Devin gets and the way that the songs meld together so seamlessly - this is his second Solo project album, and definitely one of the top ones in his catalog - I would highly recommend this one out of all of his albums.
