When I brought adobe elements 8. I new I'd need some sort of guide to using the software. So a dvd guide was a great option to have.
The Dvd is a good step by step guide to uploading photos, Organising photos, and editing photos using adobe elements 8.
Its simple to learn from and teaches you all the basics in great detail.
The only downside is, its not that good at teaching you how to do more complex speacil effects. Which is what I wanted from the dvd.
So Im back on Amazon to buy the book. Im glad I brought the dvd, I just wanted more from it.

I have bought version after version of elements but have yet to understand how to work it other than for gathering my photos. I have bought many books and have spent hours (adds up to weeks/months now) trying to enhance my images with little success. Very frustrating. I have also used the videos supplied free with magazines but they jump the bits I need to understand.
I bought this product a year ago and its brilliant. I haven't given a write up sooner because... well, I did not want to tell you how good it is because then you will know what I know!!
The guy has a bit of an irritating accent but other than that it's great. He goes through everything, the whole package of Elements 8 (I am sure that future editions will be basically the same). You run yours in the background and flip between repeating what he does. He shows you exactly how each tool works and how to use it; also tips to set as defaults.
A first class product and well worth the money. I just wish that I had found this first rather than buying all these (large) books!!
