I wasn't completely clear about it when I first ordered the Final Cut training bundle, but it actually includes TWO full courses covering Final Cut Pro 7, like the title says from beginner level to advanced.
Needless to say, there is a huge amount of information covered in the videos, from very basic stuff like configuration and hardware tweaks to make Final Cut run faster on your Mac, to really advanced stuff like animation effects, chroma key settings, cell shading and burning to Blu-Ray, which a lot of people mistakenly think you can't do on a Mac.
When I first started the course, I thought I knew a moderate amount. I'd used iMovie extensively before making the jump to Final Cut, and I had managed to piece my way through one basic project in FCP before I knew that to get better I was going to need some help. Well, I watched these training DVDs from beginning to end. Even when Andy (the instructor) was talking about things I already knew about, he put a great spin on the topics and actually managed to show me a few time savers I would have never known about otherwise.
Yes, it's almost 13 hours total, but DEFINITELY worth it. With a lot of the lessons, I keep going back to them to review, and I get a little more out of it each time.
