5.0 out of 5 stars Not Cheap, But Nothing Good Is 12 Mar 2010
Yes you can buy cheaper bags but this is a quality product that's well designed and durable.
The battery pack works well and charges my iPhone faster than most others I've tried.
Great for vaction and big enough to carry a laptop too (but don't expect to power it from this device).

Hopefully if Apple stick to their 5 Volt, 0.5-2Amp definition of USB, then this device might at least prolong the life of an iPad charge, although its unlikely to be able to give it a complete charge from the backpack battery alone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Solar back pack 15 Jun 2013

This is an excellent small, lightweight solar powered back pack. I bought it for my daughter who loves to travel and who always likes to have her phone and her lap top with her. This charges everything. Excellent.

4.0 out of 5 stars nice rucksack 24 April 2012

Not 100% convinced that the solar panel creates much charge considering the additional weight one has to carry (not just the panel, but the rechargeable battery too). In saying that, it became very useful to feed a little charge when my brother's mobile phone died 100 miles away from home. Aesthetically, it is a nice practical rucksack, and have the "feel good" factor that we are that little bit "think green".
