Format: Paperback
I found it an excellent handbook for people who are professionally involved with infertility counseling. It's divided in units written by different professionals, and it gives you just what you need to know. Very well structured covering almost everything, although sometimes it remains a little on the theoretical side when I needed a few more practical tips.

This book is excellent for anyone in the mental health field who is offering counseling to women going through the fertility process. It is organized well and very thorough. I was hesitant to purchase this book at first because of the price but it is well worth it. I would highly recommend this book.

A "must have" textbook 1 Mar. 2007
By Bonnie Cochran - Published on
Format: Paperback
Sharon Covington and Linda Hammer Burns have done an outstanding job on this second addition. I expected nothing but the best from these two strong leaders and educators in the field of infertility and reproduction. This is a "must have" for all clinicians to read and reference. It is well written, well organized and an easy to follow format. I especially appreciate the global perspective this book captures. It brings us new insights and developments in this fast growing complex field. Each distinguished contributing author approached his/her work with the most up-to-date literature, technology and infomation to help us stay abreast and within the forefront of our profession. Thank you for producing such a wonderful and valuable textbook. I have recommended this book to many colleagues and know you will too.
