Format:Paperback
This is a very well illustrated book and the captions do justice to the pictures chosen. I feel however the text is a little light on the descriptive side, even for this pamphlet style publication.
The section describing the general workings of a steam locomotive was unnecessary and did not seem to fit with the rest of the booklet. This would have been more appropriate as a seperate publication leaving more room for the specific subject of the booklet.
Regardless, this is a well illustrated introduction to the subject.

The content of the book isn't too bad but if you peel the sticker off the back that says £4.99 you will find that the book is priced at £3.50. What a rip off!
