The biggest problem with the phonic words (which are used a lot)-it is impossible to make proper sentences as there are insufficient a's, an's, and, as well as other vital words to tie in a sentence to make sense. My grandson loves to make daft sentences to read out-knowing that they don't make any sense because they are missing these simple words. There should, in my opinion be at least twelve each of these as extra necessary words.

Provides a good fun way for my 4 year old to learn to construct sentences. He enjoys using it, finds it fun and keeps him engaged.

This set was useful for making easy word sentences although it does lack pronouns/possessive pronouns, e.g. my, her, so you may need to supplement with other sets to get maximum benefit.

We've had these for 4 years now. I used them with my 1st child and now with my daughter. They have last well with just a couple of the words having a tiny amount of peel at the corner. We keep ours in the kitchen so they are in a high wear area. I've found they can be used flexibly for self or supported learning.

This product is too small for little hands, not chunky at all. It was a waste of my money. would not recommend.

These are slightly bigger than the other word magnets from the same company, which is a bit annoying when putting them together to make sentences. The red 'sounds' are useful to help the child read the word. When you group them into sounds, you realise how difficult the English language is!!

I ordered these for my little boy. They stick onto our fridge and whilst my little one is not in the least interested in them at the moment, I am sure he will be and the quality is great!
