Indiana Jones kicks butt. When I was a kid my brother had a comic adaptation of the Last Crusade and I used to love looking through it even when it suffered damage and disintergrated.

But now, twenty years on, I have discovered that Indiana Jones lived on in the comics almost as soon as Raiders of the Lost Ark left the theaters. Somewhere there is an adaptation of Raiders in volume 1 of the Further Adventures and somewhere in here may be the Last Crusade or the Temple of Doom adaptations. Either way reading this book is going to be one heck of a ride. Trust me.

I definitely don't have a bad feeling about this book so buy it before it gets WHIPPED out from under your nose!
If you enjoy Indy then grab your cup of a carpenter, drink from the fount of eternity and read on. If not, cherish those magic words 'ohm num Shiva', beware the snake pit, cover your heart and prepare to meet Kali.....in Hell!
(Only joking, its a good book full of historical education, pretty pictures, pretty ladies and ACTION!)

Once again We're traveling with Dr Jones and sharing in his adventures. I had a few of the original comics when I was a kid, but sadley they got lost or thrown away but now I can get them all in a couple of books and they still give me the same thrill I had when I was 10. Bring on Vol three is all I can say.

HASH(0x8bf7533c) out of 5 stars The magic of Indy lives! 29 Oct. 2009
By Samuel B. White - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
The comparisons between the old Marvel adventures of Indy and the Dark Horse adventures are inevitable--especially since Dark Horse is putting out the old Marvel stories in these omnibus editions. (For which I am very grateful, Dark Horse!)

Comparing the "new" adventures side-by-side with the old ones in these editions, I cannot declare an absolute winner. I think the Dark Horse artistry is better, but I prefer the Marvel story-telling. Crisp, short stories that are filled with Saturday-morning-serial thrills just like the movies are my preference. So, if I could, I'd give these Marvel editions a half star more than their Dark Horse counterparts.
