From the Author
Author comments on "Indiana Jones and the Hollow Earth"
I have received more mail on "Indiana Jones and the Hollow Earth" than on any book I've written, and all of it has been overwhelmingly good. This may disappoint ZWPF85A, who has managed to dismiss my Indy books as "BORING." Everbody is entitled to his or her opinion, of course, but part of ZWPF85A's problem may be that I wrote the Indy books to appeal to an adult audience. Although the Hollow Earth has a strong science fiction theme, and owes much to Poe/Verne/Burroughs, the story was inspired by a real-life artic explorer from Kansas by the name of Evelyn Briggs Baldwin. The Hollow Earth is especially for readers who like classic adventure.

5.0 out of 5 stars Still refreshing after that bloody martin cadin, 26 Oct 1998
By A Customer
Yet another great book by Max McCoy. He recaptures the essence of Indidana Jones after it was so badly tarnished by Martin Cadins spy-novel versions of Indidan Jones. These get back to the fighting, and danger that we so love about Indy. More problems with women of course (true to life as always) and as good as ever. I am waiting anciously for the next book (and a spell checker ;-) ) Read this book its bloodycool.

4.0 out of 5 stars Indytastic, 12 Feb 2002
By A Customer
Brilliant book, pure Indy, although not the regular usual thing you would expect from an Indiana Jones Adventure. Not as high adventure as the films, but is the perfect and captivating Jones adventure that you will want to read again and again. Another outing with our favourite character of all time.If you are reading this for my advice go out and buy the entire Bantam Indiana Jones series, not just this book. Requires no knowledge of previous books or the films, but there are references to previous books. Its set before the films in 1934 so no need to have seen the films, but you should do because they are the best films ever made by far.

Thank You Max McCoy. Peter Lally Feb 2002.
