Book Description

20 Jun 2012 Molly Mcqueen Mystery
There are lots of changes happening at Molly McQueen's Agency. Biggest of all is that Molly herself must decide whether or not she should move to Australia to be with her family. If she does, it will mean the end of the Agency she has dreamed of and worked so hard to build. Before she decides on her future, however, Molly enjoys a trip to Pitlochry Festival Theatre to see her old friend Deanna on stage. But when she goes for a walk through the hills at Killiecrankie she comes across a frightening scene. An elderly man has tumbled down a hill and has serious head injuries. As her friend goes for help, Molly stays with the man and tries to comfort him, convinced he does not have long to live. Then, unexpectedly, he hands her a pouch and tells her to 'warn them'. Little does she know that those words and the pouch the man has given her will set in motion a chain of events leading to one of the most challenging cases of her career.

5.0 out of 5 stars Indian Summer. 13 Nov 2012

I thoroughly enjoy reading Maureen's books, not only are the Sagas
(ie. The Sunday Girls) absorbing and story telling at it's best
I also thoroughly enjoyed her autobiographical books, knowing Dundee
well I recognised so much the people and places in them.
The Molly McQueen mysteries are a pleasure, a great read and always
leaving you wanting to read more of the Agency and it's staff.
Well done Maureen.

I love all the Molly McQueen Mystery books. Each one has a journey that you follow with each character. Read each one and see what I mean.

Terrible book would not recommend. Writing is really amateurish and I have struggled to get past a quarter of the book

this novel just did not excite me. Although I did read it to the end it seemed to lack something for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good old fashioned read
A good follow on from the first book, it's a pity there isn't another couple of books to carry on the story line.

1.0 out of 5 stars Difficult read
Too much drivel in the narrative. Difficult to follow characters that have similar names. But I finished it wondering why I had continued all the way.

The writing of books is not my field, so it was interesting to try and put into words why this book was rather disappointing. Read more
