If you are new to the world of massage or just starting out with a general interest in the subject, THIS is the book to get.....
It's consise clear and fully explains the subject in great depth, pictures are included to aid understanding and the text is well written
One can read it from cover to cover or dip in to find interesting new techniques. All aspects of massage are covered from being able to relieve stress for family and friends to setting up a business

Again another brilliant book by Helen McGuinness. Very informative and everything you will need to know about Indian Head massage. Easy to understand and even comes with a DVD! Great book.

I bought this whilst studying for a VTCT course in IHM. I'd spent weeks scouring local libraries for relevant books but many disappeared from libraries. This was a really useful book to buy. It's well laid out and seems to cover everything I need. The accompanying CD is really useful with interactive questions and tasks to help me revise.

Hello,

I have enrolled on a 17 week Indian Head Massage course and bought this book to support my training. Another I was going to buy had poor reviews which highlighted inaccuracies. Well I think this suffers to some extent from the same thing and the diagrams - which you complete as a task - are not useful because you DO NOT get the correct answers shown in the book. So it is useless in that respect.

I feel that it is totally pointless asking questions if you do not provide the answers somewhere in book so that the user can check out his/her progress. Some of the descriptions relating to odd items are 'woolly' and overall I think this a is a 'dumbed down' book for yet another course which has been has pumped up just so you can get a certificate.

NOT a wise buy I'm afraid. On a good note I am enjoying the actual massage. Best wishes.

This book was really helpful with my Indian Head Massage course. Contains history, application, practical diagrams along with example forms to use for beginners. Also comes with a CD which contains practise exam questions - helpful for revision.

This book was essential reading course book for ITEC Indian Head Massage Course. It is a good book but ITEC takes very little from the book for its curriculum but thats not the author's fault. Good enough book but I have seen better on the subject

The book was what I requested and arrived when stated, the book was in good condition except there was some pen marks/comments written by the previous owner inside it which was not mentioned on the description. It is usable for what I wanted but was suprised about the writings.
