2.0 out of 5 stars Lots of news about Mumbai and Delhi. 3 Feb. 2010
By Amazon Customer - Published on
I tried for a few days and did not like it. It is not covering all of India. Most of the international news is provided by New York Times. I am already a subscriber to NY Times and it is redundant to read it here again.

Most of the articles is without any summary of its origin or any previous background. So the reader might get lost in articles if he/she is not up to date with current Indian affairs.

3.0 out of 5 stars Extremely focused on Politics, hardly anything else. 14 Jan. 2011
By Azhar Chougle - Published on
It's good quality journalism in India, that's for sure, but focuses incessantly on political scandals and nonsense - which is certainly a big part of the Indian scene, but it isn't all of it. Makes it seem the Indian Express focuses on the small inane details of political intricacies rather than the big picture of what's actually happening in India. Thrives on discussing the idiotic people involved in this mess rather than the impacts of their policies and actions.

However, The Opinion section is fantastic, and if this were more realistically priced (as it is in India) I would subscribe just for that. Good International digest too.
