I have one of these and frankly it's the biggest waste of money ever. Within 3 months of having it I had to ring indesit, who I will also add are hopeless, I was left nearly a fortnight without a washing machine due to HUMAN error and monumental cock ups. This was hell on earth as my daughter was only weeks old and getting through clothes/towels at an astonishing rate. We had no one near by to help us out. Since then it has continued to break down, it now cuts out on a daily basis and I can't afford indesits ridiculous rates to come and fix it on a daily basis. I am now saving for something else but please, do not waste your money on this machine. It only has one star as there isn't an option for none. Awful product and even worse aftercare.

We had actually 2 of those. The first one lasted for about 3 years. In a family with 2 young children that was not-too-bad, but not good either. The second one lasted 15 month when its mother board malfunctioned. Indesit proves the point that "you get what you pay for". Personally, I will never, ever buy anything with Indesit written on it. Unless you are desperate, do NOT buy these machines.

Worst company ever!! I bought a similar model in March of last year and had nothing but problems with it from day one. In the first instance, The washing machine part of the appliance broke down. After calling the customer services department we we basically scared into thinking that the machine was blocked. After several of these calls we decided to bite the bullet and get an engineer out. He discovered that the pressure switch was installed incorrectly during manufacturing. After replacing that the machine still didn't work. They then came out and replaced the whole of the inside of the machine including pump, motherboard, heating element etc. This seemed to do the trick for a couple of months until the dryer stopped working!! after another visit from an Indesit/hotpoint engineer, the problem still persisted so I called them up and was told I would get a replacement only to be told later that another engineer would have to come out. He couldn't fix it as he needed a part that he didn't have. At this point a large vein in my head is pulsating! I then called Indesit again, only to be told again that another repair had to be carried out. This will be the 5th time. And still no replacement although I had been previously promised one. I have a young family and I am not well off and this blatant attempt to bodge my machine until the warranty runs out is disgusting. Do yourself a favour, if you want to avoid stress, inconvenience and anger go for another brand/machine.

My indesit IWDC stopped working yesterday. My clothes are still in it, there is water still in it and
the door is electronically locked. I have repeatedly phoned indesit on various customer and technical
service numbers. Their staff are rude, not helpful and just hang up on you, apparently it is just a joke to
them and your are a fool for buying indesit in the first place.

This is the worst washing machine ever. My clothes are not as white as i've noticed before. What's more, the programme for wool left huge patches of dry areas on the knitwear, which meant that after a full cycle, some areas hadn't even got wet and had to be washed again. GOD HELP YOU if you attempt to use the dryer. It is vicious. I threw away the first washing load as it was so creased into hard balls that there was nothing either my iron or steamer could do (and I have a professional steamer). So I was down at least a thousand pounds for the various blouses, dresses and trousers ruined. Then, and this is super helpful, the dryer dial doesn't 'count down' the time, so you just stick it on 40 60 mins etc. This means that once it's done, it stays on 40 or 60 mins and of course, you will definitely forget. So next time you run the machine, your lovely wool knitwear gets tumbled to destruction (or anything else for that matter). I've made 2 mistakes in forgetting to set the dial to 0. Don't buy this machine. It's cost me 6 x it's value in ruined clothes.
